Bill Potter is a Richmond resident and a lapidary artist, meaning he cuts and sets his own stones. His work is truly one of a kind and he is intimately involved with every aspect of the production of his art. His work is most notable by large, statement gemstones set in high quality sterling silver. Each of his pieces are uniquely made and sourced from all reaches of the earth. The love and care that goes into his pieces shows in the expert craftsmanship and detail in his metalwork and polishing. 
 
He specialises in fine hand-made jewelery. His collection incorporates contemporary design with simple yet elegant traditional styles.

William started his career as an apprentice with a leading jewellery designer. Today he runs his own business and has been trading at the Covent Garden markets since the early 1990s.
